The problem
You know what to do. The books told you. Your pediatrician told you. Nothing has stuck.
That gap between knowing and doing is not a character flaw. No one has given you a system that holds when you are depleted at 5PM.
Who we are
We are Hila and Amir. Not parenting experts. Parents. Two kids. The same impossible Tuesdays.
Our son is five and strong-willed. Every transition was a negotiation. Everything started as no. We spent thousands on parent counseling. We read 20+ parenting books and 40+ research papers, and extracted every framework we could find. The books gave us the mechanisms. Counseling turned them into household moves we could actually use.
Our daughter is two. We applied the same frameworks from 18 months. The battles that defined our son's early years are still a work in progress with her, but they land differently: shorter, calmer, easier to repair.
The change was not magic. It was more practical than that: clearer boundaries, fewer debates in the moment, faster repairs, and a shared language we could use when the house got loud.
Why we built this
We started talking to other parents. They had read the same books. They could not stick to it long enough to work.
This site is the system we built. Every article is a protocol for the parent who has nothing left.
“They had read the same books. They could not stick to it long enough to work. That is not a knowledge problem. That is an execution problem.”
Hila and Amir
Every article is a protocol: the mechanism behind the moment, the exact steps, the scripts, and what to do when it fails.
Read the protocols→The Turn is not a program. It is a protocol library. Free articles, a weekly email with one protocol per Tuesday, and Reset Packs that install the habit, not just the information.
